I have a nickname for the feet: “The number one junkyard dog of the body”. Why? Because our feet are so far away from our eyes that they get very little attention (and possibly even less care.) Think about it; when was the last time you looked at the bottom of your foot?
Let’s face it, the feet do get neglected. Think of the life your feet lead: Mostly enclosed in shoes of some sort (which almost always have the heel higher than the toes), and missing a few vital moves needed the keep them healthy. The result of this can be truly painful problems in the feet. Like plantar fasciitis. Ask anyone who has this, and they’ll tell you just how painful it is. The good news is, The Wheeler Method deals with plantar fasciitis, with a short targeted segment devoted specifically to preventing this excruciating foot pain.
I love this foot test. Most people who try it can’t do everything on the first try. Your brain sends signals to the feet, which think “me? You talking to … me?” and then might or might not be able to react properly. The good news is, your feet respond very quickly to care and attention, and before you know it, feet and brain will be fully attached. This test is also a good way to make sure everything is working properly. If you have strong pain while doing certain moves, or if you can’t do the last move, you definitely need to visit your health care provider. Lisa will explain in the video.
